Why Move?

While Belle Plaine has been SVA’s home since the 80s, the location is not ideal for the clients we serve. Having our services easily accessible to clients will help victims begin the process of healing from the trauma they have experienced due to abuse.

SVA purchased a building in Shakopee where it will relocate its current office, as well as offer enhanced supportive services. This new location is close in proximity to public transportation, county services, courts, employment opportunities and many other community resources.
